About Us

What started as a hobby has grown into The Tent Guys. The Tent Guys is a family business consisting of George, his daughter Pamela and son Kirk.

We travel throughout the area providing our services to people having all sorts of gatherings such as: weddings, anniversaries, graduations, reunions, sports tournaments, corporate events, community celebrations and birthdays. It is lots of fun helping people to plan a special occasion and gratifying to know that we contributed to the success of an event.

We are members of both the Lloydminster and Wainwright Chamber of Commerce Groups.

Pamela (Quickstad) Becotte

Event Coordinator

Pamela graduated with her Special Event Coordinating Certification with distinction from Lakeland College in 2007.

Pamela is a member of MPI (Meeting Professionals International) and was chosen as a Future Leader of the Meetings Industry. As such she was awarded a spot at the 2007 IMEX Future Leaders Forum, which was held in conjunction with the MPI International Education Congress in Montreal, Quebec. Of the 30 students selected from across North America to attend this forum she was the only Canadian.

Pamela's previous employment as the Event Rental Coordinator at the Lloydminster Agricultural Exhibition Association has given her experience with a wide variety of events - including weddings, tradeshows, and fundraising gala's. In her 14 months the the LAEA she was involved with over 800 events at the facilities.
